We shall be very glad to see him and I shall make every effort to make his visit as pleasant and profitable as possible. When I talked with you last about the possibility of your undertaking work on the relationships which might exist between lead and calcium and lead and phosphorus, I probably neglected to tell you that we are making a few observations on experimental subjects who are taking known quantities of lead with the idea of being sure during the different phases of the experiment as to whether the calcium and phosphorus intake and output were balanced or unbalanced. I am not sure Just how much of such work we will do or where it will lead, but I should appreciate It very much indeed if you would let me have some of the details of your manner of handling experimental subjects and various samples In your studies of this type. Also I would be glad to know the details of the methods of analysis which you are employing since I have no doubt you have been through all the pitfalls in these procedures.
