Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 Air Enforcement Branch 61 Forsyth Street, SW Atlanta, Georgia 30303 INSPECTION REPORT Facility Inspected 1000 Circle 75 Parkway Atlanta, Georgia 30339 Inspection Date: March 21, 2024 Facility Programmatic ID 3601644015 LAT: 33.8889 LON: -84.4661 Inspection Type Clean Air Act (CAA) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) - Asbestos Inspectors Pamela Storm Introduction An inspection pursuant to Section 114 of the CAA was conducted on March 21, 2024, at 1000 Circle 75 Parkway in Atlanta, Georgia 30339 (the Facility). The unannounced inspection was conducted by Pamela Storm and Tony Spann who possess EPA inspector credentials to conduct CAA NESHAP asbestos inspections. The inspectors discovered that demolition had occurred at the Facility by obtaining a copy of Permit #2023003763 issued by Cobb County on April 26, 2023, for the demolition of a commercial building at the Facility. The permit was obtained by Kyle Tripp with Atlas Demolition, 85 Spring Place Road, Cartersville, Georgia 30121. The activity appeared to have been completed as of the time of this inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to determine compliance with the CAA NESHAP Asbestos Standard and the regulations promulgated at 40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M, for the demolition activity conducted at the Facility. The EPA Region 4 CAA NESHAP asbestos program targets facilities for inspection located in the State of Georgia based on tips/complaints; permits issued on a local level; demolition and/or renovation/abatement notices sent to the State; and other relevant information concerning renovation/demolition activities at regulated facilities. This inspection was conducted based on the aforementioned permit for renovation/demolition activity at the Facility. Facility Information The facility was a commercial building prior to demolition. It is now a fenced, vacant lot. Inspection Inspection Work had been completed at the time of this inspection. The facility had been demolished. A fenced, vacant lot remained. Permit #2023-003763, issued by Cobb County on April 26, 2023, stated that it was issued for the demolition of a commercial building. The permit listed the facility owner as SA 1000 C75 Land LLC, 14606 Branch Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68154.
