Wright Hello Isabelle, I am writing today to follow up on a conversation that my boss, Kim Dang, had with Secretary Wright last week at the Business Council meeting. When they met briefly last week, Secretary Wright said he would be interested in understanding how the government could help expedite the construction of critical energy infrastructure projects. We are requesting a brief phone call with the Secretary to follow up on that, and we will obviously schedule it at the Secretary's convenience. By way of background, Kinder Morgan is the largest U.S. headquartered energy infrastructure company. We own an interest in or operate approximately 79,000 miles of pipelines, 139 terminals, 704 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of working natural gas storage capacity and have Sierra Club v. Dept of Energy, 4:25-cv-5027 SC_EVERSPLIT0014554 renewable natural gas production capacity of approximately 5.6 Bcf per year with an additional 0.8 Bcf in development. Our pipelines transport 40% of the natural gas consumed in or exported from the U.S., as well as refined petroleum products, crude oil, condensate, carbon dioxide, renewable fuels and other products, and our terminals store and handle various commodities including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, chemicals, metals, petroleum coke, and ethanol and other renewable fuels and feedstocks. We are currently investing approximately $6 billion in capital on three projects to provide natural gas for growing power generation and LNG demand. Those are the projects we are hoping to expedite.
