Yes, although she has moved to Oklahoma, I would highly recommend my former communications director at Senator Inhofe's office and the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. I think for the right opportunity she would highly consider coming back to D.C. There's no more professional communications individual. Her capabilities, temperament, and professionality is always the model.

Dear Ryan,
I hope this note finds you well. I can't believe it is December - the year is flying by!
I wanted to pick your brain for a search I am just kicking off for the Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Communications for the American Public Power Association (APPA). The SVP oversees APPA's integrated external affairs function, including the 25-person government affairs, regulatory advocacy and communications teams. S/he will lead the development and implementation of a coordinated advocacy strategy and the seamless execution of a multi-faceted

external communications plan with the ultimate goal of raising the visibility of the critical role public power utilities play in communities across the country. The ideal candidate would be an accomplished manager of people and teams with demonstrated expertise in the external affairs arena within the utility sector.
I have attached a copy of the position specification and would welcome any thoughts you might have of potentially strong candidates. I'm happy to hop on a quick call to talk through in more detail if that would be helpful.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

I unfortunately represent the Puerto Rico Financial Control Board.
I do not need a meeting but might be good optics for you to be concerned about the water infrastructure. The electric grid is our first concern but there are going to be huge health issues related to the water treatment facility . I describe the health crisis as the largest in the Americas since Columbus brought European disease to the New World.
Natalie Jaresko, the Board's exec director is in town this week along with the Dep GC, Kyle Rifkind. We are doing Hill briefings on liquidity needs and pending litigation

I thought I'd try a more direct approach to follow in the footsteps of my predecessors and introduce myself. Hopefully by now you've had an opportunity to settle into the cadence of the role and I wanted to see if your schedule would allow time for us to meet in person. I've recently started the next chapter of my career at a law firm in DC so my schedule is currently pretty flexible except for some occasional travel. Please let me know if there are a few dates and times that work best for you.

Chip,
It was good to talk to you the other day. I'm glad you'll be able to join Governor Bryant in welcoming EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt to Mississippi on Thursday, October 12, to talk about a revision to the Waters of the U.S. rule.
We will begin the day at the Governor's Mansion at 9:00 that morning. Following the meeting (approximately 10:30), we will go to Gaddis Farms, operated by Ted Kendall, for the Administrator to talk briefly with a group of farmers and other stakeholders about the rule. Ted Kendall has graciously offered the Gaddis Farms lake house for the meeting which will begin at 11:00. If you would like to invite some of your members to the meeting at 11:00, please do. We would like to have their names in advance, if possible. I am attaching a map to the lake house.
Please call me, if you have any questions. Thanks for you input and help.
