Dr. John S. Lambie, Southern California Plant, General Motors Corporation, 2700 Tweedy Boulevard, South Gate, California.
Dear Doctor Lambie :
Thanks for your letter of December 6 and for the information which you forwarded to me. Unfortunately, this information will he of little help to me in the interpretation of the results, since there is no reference in it to the length of employment of any of these men in specific jobs. Such information may not be available, but if it is, and if you and your associates want the benefit of my opinions concerning the likely significance of the analytical results, it would be a good Idea to let me have them. If such information is not available, I should feel that It should be worked up in considerable detail.
The analytical work is nearing completion and will be forwarded upon my return. On the basis of the present Information, however, It would not be possible to do more than to classify the men according to their stated occupation.
Vith kindest personal regards and best wishes for the Kew "Year,
Sincerely yours,

Dear Dr* Kehoe:
I ara submitting herewith, the data which you asked Mr. Clark to furnish you in connection with the blood specimens sent you about the 21st of November for lead analysis. I am sorry there has been this delay. Even now I am acting for Dr. Bones who is currently on the sick list with an ear infection.
As you probably gathered from our contact in Cincinnati, I was sent out here to aid in our defense against charges of "serious and willful misconduct" in cases of lead poisoning at this plant. I am work ing with Dr. Johnstone on this matter. There are nine cases, and they will be tried as a group, I believe, on December 20, 1949. I will let you know later how we come out.
With best personal regards.
Sincerely
Enclosure
