Thu$# although urban air contains a few free fibers as a result of brake lining wear, they represent a very small pro port ion of the total asbestos used in the manufacture of brakes. Many sources of respirable fibers not associated with asbestos products have been identified (12) and the free fibers from brake lining wear appear to be an inconsequential health factor in urban air pollution". * No further business was brought to the attention of the meeting, therefore, motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed, it was RESOLVED: To adjourn.
