Laveglia, A2SG I received a call Friday, February 11, 1977, from John Warner, affiliated with Frederic Research Center who indicated they have an NCI grant to study the carcinogenicity of the referenced product. The grant is set up to evaluate the carcinogenic potential of several chlorinated hydrocarbons (i.e. PCB's, Kepone, Mirex) at high (MTD) and low (possibly 0.1 MTD) levels of individual chemicals and in combination (ratio based on MTD value). The experimental model will include life-time rat (30 months and mice (24 months) feeding studies. The protocols apparently have not been finalized yet. Warner called to get information regarding: 1.
