PRODUCT ONCOR* 75RA ONCOR23A ANTIMONY OXIDE*
FLAME RETARDANTS
DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION
ONCOR 75RA flame retardant is a complex antimony compound con taining a lower level of metal than found in conventional antimony based flame retardants. When used in conjunction with halogen con taining resins or additives, a highly efficient flame retardant system is obtained.
ONCOR 23A is a unique pigment, composed of an inert silica core of low specific gravity, with a surface layer of antimony oxide fused to the core. It imparts flame resistance to paint and plastic compositions based on halogenated resins. Oncor 23A pigment provides unusually low reactivity, which is particularly useful in polyurethanes.
ANTIMONY OXIDE is a fine white pigment, widely used as a flame re tardant in paints and plastics containing chlorinated or other halogen ated constituents. In addition, it functions as an opacifier in vitreous enamels and as a decolorizer in glass.
