I, at the present time, have a man under my care about forty five years of age who had lead poisoning about two years ago. Prior to that time, history does not show any evidence of epilepsy. , In the last year and a half he has had several attacks which ordinarily would be taken to be epilepsy. He has had two attacks in the last t^i days. Without warning ha loses consciousness and goes into a severe spasmodic attack, frothing at the mouth and then within a period of fifteen |of twenty min utes becomes himsslf again. There is mo evidence of lead in the urine and there is nothing in the blood count; or blood smear to indicate the presence of lead in his system, jl have not yet been able to make a positive diagnosis. !
