INTRODUCTION:
This meeting was called to define objectives, establish responsibili ties, and review project progress of CED Project 1968 - Paste Resin Debottlenecking.
DISCUSSIONS:
1. The over-all_startup team objective is to produce an annualized rate of 35.Off lbs. during a calendar month in the fourth quarter f 1969. Individual safety, quality, mechanical performance, etc., objectives will be listed in area startup procedures as they apply.
2. The project startup will be divided into two chronological sections:
A. Phase X will commence immediately and continue until 7:00 a.m., Sept. 1. The plant will by this time return to an annualized rate of at least 31.Olf lbs. as measured on a weekly basis.
B. Phase XI starts immediately after Phase X and is completed when the over-all project objective as stated above is reached.
3. During Phase X the startup is broken down into three distinct areas of responsibility:
A. Latex Handling - Process Tech.
B. Spray Drying - Process Tech.
C. Packout
- Manufacturing
4. The proposed building shutdown conditions are attached.
5. The pre-shutdown timing checklist is attached.
6. A copy of maintenance requirements during the two-week outage is attached.
7. Startup Meeting XX will take place Thurs., 6/26 in the PT Conference Room, where startup plans will be reviewed.

MAJOR MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS 84 BLDG. SUMMER SHUTDOWN
1. Charge west Pulsaire bags. 2. Clean out RVCM tank. 3. Charge sections of Pangborn, PM envelops, traversing
mechanisms, blowback fans, etc. Check secondary fan belts and bearings. 4. Move control valve on 13 condenser dome inside building and put bypass around it. 5. Upgrade collector ductwork on grinder discharge. 6. Repair ductwork from surge hopper rotary valves to grinders. 7. Overhaul 750 MG pump if needed. 8. Overhaul agitator drive on fl post blend tank. 9. PM high speed conveyor and M-l conveyor. 10. Drill any condensers as required. 11. Charge dryer air filters. 12. Change/check relief valves as needed. 13. Open large knockout tank at stack if needed. Examine stack line at various points and clean if needed. 14. Determine where vent line to gasholder is plugged. 15. Repair leaking pig tank in grinder room. 16. Install stack tie-in on RVCM transfer line.
