81 9 Information System on Toxic Chemicals.
The Manufacturing Chemists' Association (MCA) wants to help the Government set up its info mation system on toxic chemicals. In a letter to the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW), General G.H. Decker (U.S.A. -Ret. ) president of the Manufacturing Chemist Association, asks for a meeting with HEW representatives to discuss MCA's role in developit the computer-based file of information on the toxic effect of chemicals on people that was re cently proposed by President Johnson. General Decker points out that MCA has detailed toxi cological information on more than 100 chemicals and is working closely with the National Academy of Sciences in developing the Food Chemicals Codex.
