GEORGIA- PACIFIC / ETHYL The customer has replied to our letter to the effect that their test method was the same as that used in Bridgewater. We therefore have no explanation for the gross difference in results obtained, other than to conclude that the test is in herently irreproducible. We will discuss the reproducibility of the test with Bridgewater Tech. Service. - 2 . WAXED EXTRUDATES The second round of trials on the Bepex Extructor is sched uled for the week of July 9 in Santa Rosa, Ca. Bepex has in dicated that if the equipment proves suitable, they could toll - produce for us on an interim basis in Minneapolis, Mn. 3. PPG PPG's request for a sample of Lead Cyanamid has been put on hold at the request of R. F. Anderson. 4. PACKARD ELECTRIC We have begun investigating the feasibility of instituting a Statistical Process Control System at the request of this customer. CYWI 1-000130 2 B . PLANT GENERAL 1. COMPUTER A program for tracking and graphing FEP, similar to the blood lead program, has been set up. Word processing software (Easy - Writer) has been re placed, and C. Karas trained by Computerland in its use. Some operating problems have surfaced, however. The Energy and Labor Usage Program appears to be func tioning properly. The Air Pallet Control Program is being debugged after initial testing. A Personnel Records Program has been set up. C. COMPLAINTS There have been 10 complaints to date this year.
