() L 1984 Annual Inspection Approval received from PMSB that the inspection will be done September 19-21, 1984, with feed back on September 24, 1984. Ray Forsthoffer frcm Texas City and Bob Jones frcm Chocolate Bayou will coordinate activities associated with ccnmittee selection for both plants and SHAC will coordinate the inside plant activities associated with the inspection. Quarterly Inspection Unannounced quarterly inspection will be done during the weeks of June 4, and June 11, 1984. See Attachment No. 1 for inspector assign ments. Five Minute Escape Masks Data is still being received frcm the SHAC action request. Indications are that there are close to 400 escape masks in the plant and that few people are receiving routine training on their use. SHAC will be making a reocrmendation on this shortly. Safety Statistics Bob Hairmann reviewed YTD safety statistics and conpared them to last years results. RI's increased last year as the shutdown activities increased. Paul Bailey pointed out that more safety meetings/ccmrunications are needed during the upcoming shutdowns in the west Plant to keep safety awareness at a high level. Joe Stal will coordinate publicity on the approaching milestone of 5 million manhours without a lost work day case. SC 000931 U/W002129 -2- r STOP Enhancement STOP cards have been collected and data has been compliled for the month of April (See Attachment No. 2). These results will be publicized in order to provide feedback to the plant. Revision to P-0117 A revision has been made to the Fire, Entry, and Special Permit Procedure (P-0117), that allows the General Superintendents of Manu facturing to delegate their approval authority on "Special Permits" to certain qualified engineers and foremen within their departments when the Superintendent is absent.
