While this list Is not large. Ve were veil pleased with the Interest shown In lead as an acoustical naterial and with the fact that two papers 00 lead as a sound barrier were presented before the meeting by Hr. Levis S. Goodfrlend and his associate, Mr. Paul Ostergard. Another paper delivered by Hr. Layson Miller of the ecoustlcal en gineering flra of Bolt, Berar.ek and Hcvnan on the acoustical treataent of the new Philharmonic Ball In the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, referred quite extensively to their successful use of lead asbestos antivlbratlon pads.
