Armstrong Cork Company advises that the Amotex is not considered by definition as hazardous material. JM reports that the asbestos fibers are firmly bound in the -'SO Waterproofing Felt by an asphalt saturant. It is possible that the asbestos fibers are firmly bound in the product. However, JM reports that the fiber count concentration will not 'exceed the acceptable level curing any reasonable foreseeable use. If that latter statement can be taken literally, we may still have the some problem as we currently have at Baltimore Works. The present asbestos concentration ' levels at Baltimore Works, based upon previous asbestos samplings, are well below the TLV.
