Always assume it has pressure on it. 3.3 Always be cautious of hot product that may be present. 4.0 Special Notations: 4.1 5.0 Procedure: 5.1 Block in pressure source to the gauge. 5.2 If a bleed valve is located downstream of the block valve, unplug the bleed valve and slowly open the valve to relieve the pressure on the gauge. 5.3 If no bleed valve is present, but a plug is.
