Siegel c^rile As we discussed in our telephone conversation on 11/26/73, two rail cars of Pantasote PVC (225/16R type) were received and Quality Control testing revealed the presence of oversize. The oversize was retained on a 40 mesh screen (ca. 0.1%) and had a flake or string type appearance. The particles were readily compressed under spatula pressure and standard mill fisheye testing did not indicate either an increase in fisheyes (screened versus not screened through 40 mesh) or unusually large fisheyes or tears in the fisheye sheet. While the oversize in this case does not appear to be a problem, we are concerned that the situation may worsen and, therefore, we request that you alert Pantasote. In other respects, the Pantasote PVC appears to be acceptable for use in place of our standard 225/16R, as noted below: Pantasote Acrx ACFX 1(96284 #96329 225/16R Relative Viscosity Fisheyes 2.30 2.31 (high side) 12 (high side) 2.26 - 2.33 13 max Dry Blend Time 6.1 (fast side) 6.0 - 8.0 HBC/jst * H.R.
