This is new information coming out of the Shanghai Health Study. Both Shell and ExxonMobil have filed TSCA 8(e) reports on this. Below is the added MSDS language: Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) was observed in individuals exposed to very high SH ELL-MCCLU RG-06S244 levels (50 ppm to 300 ppm range) of benzene over a long period of time in the workplace. The relevance of these results to lower levels of exposure is not known. Ed, I would recommend that we do a special customer communication regarding this change. Judith, I would recommend that we do a special employee notification. Sarah, would you please help draft the customer and employee communications? AI, I would recommend that OP consider adding this statement to their benzene MSDS.
