The practice of dumping bags of oil-treated products into the product elevator is to be avoided. The two reports mentioned had the experience of fires starting on the stoner deck. The oil on the product coming in contact with hot material entering the stoner, along with the air blowing through the stoner deck, provides an ideal set of conditions for ignition of the oil on the ZMI.
