Subject: Speaking Request for Administrator Scott Pruitt
Scott Pruitt-EPA.docx
Good afternoon Ms. Hupp,
My name is Tom Thornton, Energy Program Manager with S&P Global Market Intelligence. On December 5-6, 2017, we are hosting our 2017 Utility Regulation Conference, to be held at the Liaison Capitol Hill, Washington, DC. This conference has become an important event for energy executives, with recent speakers including Tony Clark-FERC Commissioner, and Sheryl LaFleur-FERC Commissioner.
I would like to submit a request for Administrator Scott Pruitt to speak at this executive conference, sharing insights on his vision for shaping the EPA, and the role EPA plays in advancing energy policy. I have attached a formal request, and after speaking to Cheryl, a colleague at EPA, she suggested I email you directly with this request.
Please let me know what details you require for this request, and how I may assist. We look forward to hearing from you soon, and hope Mr. Pruitt will be available to join us.
Thank you Ms. Hupp,
Tom Thornton Program Manager - Energy
