Former Congressman Dan Bishop served in the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2025, where he sat on the Judiciary Committee, the Select Sub Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, and the Homeland Security Committee, where he chairs the subcommittee on oversight, investigations, and accountability. In Congress, Dan was a warrior for free speech, the rule of law, fiscal responsibility, and against the weaponization of government.
Before Congress, he was elected to the North Carolina House and Senate and the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. Prior to running for office, he was an accomplished business litigator for nearly 3 decades, earning numerous awards. He earned his law degree from UNC Chapel Hill,
