In general, we feel that asbestos requires a reasonable amount of care in handling Just as is the case with many industrial raw materials. A hood at the point where the bags are emptied is suggested and the operator should wear a dust mask to guard against inadvertent spills. As we discussed, we do supply a low-dust "cracked" pellet product to the vinyl floor tile industry. Should dust become a critical factor, we could quite possibly provide a cracked high purity pellet if the volume is sufficiently large. The flow and filtration data have been taken directly from a report by John Skvarla. They appear to be reasonably self-explanatory but If you have any questions. It will probably be easiest to contact John directly. Chrysotile asbestos presents an unusual solubility problem. As we discussed, it occurs In the form of a tubular fiber made up of alternate.
