Mr. C J Kahler, 415 N* Orange St., Sellnsgrove, Pa.
Bear Sir:
Be hare received a letter from our Hew York office concerning your complaint about Ethyl Gasoline. In the past and up until the present time it has been our experience " that there is nothing in Ethyl Gasoline, as such, which causes any type of skin infection. This opinion is based on quite a number of cases and on examinations made on men who suspected that Ethyl Gasoline was the source of their trouble*
Of courses as you know, gasoline of any type predisposes the skin to various types of infection and inflammation which are the result chiefly of the removal of the normal protective oils which are present.
V/e can assure you quite frankly that your fears in regard to Ethyl Gasoline in this matter are groundless. If the infection of which you speak continues, I should advise your consulting a competent skin specialist.
Very truly yours,
""
