As Indicated, I am concerned re sectioning all samples to the mid wall since $ .it apparently will put us at a further disadvantage as opposed to CS 2 6 We already have a two hour requirement as opposed to the 20 minutes called for in CS 256. A further disadvantage is that at least some of our tests will be run at temperatures in excess of the 75.2F maximum. Would you please review this with the Sales Department and determine what we should do. If a 20 minute requirement could be adopted tied in v'lth sectioned samples this would have an advantage in production from the time element standpoint. Research Report 455-133 indicates that 20 minutes is adequate in terms of short term properties. If V2 are going to use the practice of sectioning all samples to mid wall (and it is a more vigorous requirement) then it would appear that steps should be taken to have this adopted as the industry standard.
