He maintains the technical literature file and searches these files for inform ation required by member company representatives. He also maintains liaison with other such services in Industry, government, private institutions and universities. IE. Services Provided during 1963 A. Regular services provided by IHF have been: 1) Industrial Hygiene Digest contains approximately 100 abstracts each month which are grouped by subject. We are attempting to broaden the scope of the Digest by introducing special editorials and full-length articles which we believe will be of particular interest to man agement. Examples of these appeared in the Industrial Hygiene Digest during the year. 2) Bulletins - This year, three new bulletin* were Issued in our special series: Legal Bulletin No.4 on the Current Status of Compensation for Pneumoconioses; Engineering Bulletin No. 5 on International Audiometric Zero; and Chemical-Toxicological Bulletin No. 2 on Hygienic Guides, The Transactions of the 27th Annual Meeting were published as the March 1963 issue of the Archives of Environmental Health and were distributed to all members. 3) There continued to be requests for information on a wide range of subjects. One such Inquiry was received on electromagnetic radiation, and resulted in the supplement to the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists Threshold Limit Values published in the September Digest. Representatives of four industries met with us to propose or review * industry-wide research projects.
