Dr. Venezia also will contact Frank Borelli of the Vinvl Institute and William Waddell of ACGIH to obtain more information on the initiative. 2.0 Discussion of CalEPA's Developmental and Reproductive Identification Committee Priority Listing of Vinyl Chloride The Committee agreed that comments should be filed with CalEPA for the November 15, 1996 workshop on the refinement of prioritization procedures and consideration of draft developmental/reproductive toxicity data summaries. Tonathon Ramlow and Dr. Venezia will develop draft comments and send them to the Committee for review. Committee members should review the comments and respond immediately with any changes to Dr. Venezia. CMA 119481 Vinyl Chloride Health Committee Record of Conference Call -11/8/96 Page 2 3.0 Discussion of EPA's Request for Company Sponsorship of Vinyl Chloride in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) Screening Information Datasets (SIDS) Program The Committee discussed the possibility of sponsoring vinyl chloride in the OECD SIDS Program and agreed that more information is needed to make a decision. Dr. Venezia will gather information on the typical content of a SIDS dossier and the costs in terms of dollars and "sweat-equity" involved in preparing and submitting such a document to OECD. Has Shah will provide the Committee with an example of a SIDS Initial Assessment Report (SLAR) at the November 26.1996 meeting. Discussion of the Proposed 1997 Budget The Committee approved the CMA recommended budget for 1997 that was distributed to the Commmittee members prior to the conference call.
