"Flnsterbusch: The Ethyl Corporation requests the services of Stone <fc "Webster Engineering Corporation in connection with the erection of new ethylene dichloiide manufacturing facilities at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Plant. We wish Stone & Webster to perform the oonstruotion work only for this expansion. We propose that the foregoing work be oarxied out in accordanoe with Part II - Design and Construction - of Term Contract between us, dated May 29, 1945. Since your Company is to perform the construction work only, this will be a Class "C" Project and will carry a fee of six and one-quarter per oent (estimated completed cost one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars) of the "Cost of the Work" as same is de fined in the Term Contraot. Will you kindly see that insurance coverage for the work is in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated by Mr. Southwiek for insurance coverage on work to be performed by Stone & Webster for Ethyl*s account. By this letter Stone & Webster is authorised to charge to the Ethyl Corporation any expenses incurred by your organisation in connec tion with this work prior to the date hereof. If the foregoing proposal is acceptable to you, will you kindly so signify by signing this letter in duplicate in the space provided for herein and return one oopy to us for our files.
