vacuum system the collected eoal dust exhausts to the bunker.
The principal power-plant equipment of Station C is given below.

The Bradford breaker dischsrie^^
per will have a short horitonul^ conveyor delivering coal into a diitfj
hausters. Four motor-driven oil pumps serve to ignite the coal in the furnace.
Automatic combustion control will supervise end adjust steam and furnace draft pressure, fuel-air, steamflow fuel* flow, end primary-oir* fuel-flow ratios for each of the boilers. Automatic su perheat temperature control equipment will also bo provided.
The (wo tubular air heaters arranged in parallel on each boiler will be fitted with dampers so one can be shut down at low loads. The increased velocity will result in better heat transfer.
Two forced-draft and two induceddraft fans, each with individual singlespeed motor drive, will serve each steam
generator. Forced-draft fans will be direct connected with flow control by inlet vanes. Induced-draft fans will be driven through magnetic couplings. Each boiler has its own radial brick chimney. Each stack exit will be equipped with a venturi throat or noxxle to give (he flue gas a leaving velocity slightly under 7000 fpm at full load.
Ash Control. Because of the nearness of residential areas to the plant site special precautions have been taken to reduce flyash leaving the stock to a negligible value. After leaving the air heaters the flue gas enters a mechani cal flyash separator from which it flows into a 3-secdon electrostatic pre
ing hopper equipped with e cost pier. From here coal feeds' chutes. Oho leads to a belt iaS
running to the initial stockings'll1
other two chutes discharge to inclined belt conveyors leading^

be installed initially.
