He: Asbestos Insulation Dust Exposures, Ho. 2 Storehouse
Dear Mr. Moore:
The Medical Department has recently become interested in the extent of exposure to asbestos insulation dust at Ho. 2 Storehouse.
It is felt that maximum exposure to these dusts say occur during handl ing operations such as unloading and stocking a shipment of materials in loose fora. Burlap bags of #302 rubberoid cement and "asbestos float" and paper bags of #450 insulation'cement comprise this group.
I would like to carry out a study of the dust concentrations during the unloading of a shipment of asbestos cement. It would be appreciated if you would notify me upon the arrival of your next shipment of this material.
Very truly yours.
.
