Armstrong, and myself, in your office, tbe following decisions were made? 1. J. W. Hoffmann will coordinate with C. H. Armstrong the procurement o several sample* of asbestos*!?## cements for testing by bis craftsmen under controlled condition# in the warehouse. 2. 7-M asbestos cement will not be replaced as it is depleted from current Stock. 3. Asbestos cloth will be continued in stock for sales reasons, but a substitute is tbe form of ''Clean-Guard'' from H. K. Porter is to be Investigated. Alsac Smith, Tice President - Sales with H. K. Porter, is to come and give a presentation on the product within two weeks. 4. ttnibestos stocks are to be depleted, Roanoke stock Is to be investigated, possibly moved to Norfolk for sale. 5. J. W. Hoffmann stated that la the interim the Contract Department would use asbestos cloth only on jobs requiring small amounts of cloth and that on jobs requiring larger amounts, glass or treated cloth would be substituted.
