The Pressure Connector Group had noted that the preaent recog
nition and teat program of Underwriters* Laboratories* Ino* Involves a 75 C limit for wire connectors used with Insulated aluminum wire and cable* There Is'apparently a problem in eonneetion with the
termination ef eonduetars having asbestos and other insulations oper
ating at higher temperatures which should be considered by repre sentatives of the Pressure Connector Group and the Wire and Cable Section with Underwriters1 Laboratories* The Group eooordingly recommended that a joint section committee be sat up with tha Wire
and Cable Section to oontaot Underwriters1 Laboratories to dlseuss oables and connectors for high temperatures*
Very truly yours*
