This will acknowledge receipt of your letter of July 25, 1940, in which, you ask for a date Tvhich is mutually convenient to discuss certain matters per taining to tetraethyl lead.
As far as I know now, I shall be available dur ing the week of August 12. Dr. P. A. Deal, Acting Chief of the Division of Industrial Hygiene, has re placed Dr. Sayers who was recently made Director of the U. S. Bureau of Minos; and I suggest that you keep Dr. Neal informed of matters which have hygienic sig nificance in this connection.
If for any reason I should be absent when you come to 'Tashington, I am sure Dr. Neal will be avail able to discuss this natter with you.
