Dear Administrator Pruitt,
While I am sorry that you were forced to cancel your visit due to Hurricane Harvey, our Mission and the Australian government appreciate that all of your and EPA's efforts are sorely needed in Texas right now. I wish you and your Agency colleagues the best working through the challenges posed by this disastrous hurricane. I also want to note that our Australian friends and colleagues, including Minister Frydenberg and his staff, have expressed their understanding of the situation, and are similarly wishing you and your team good luck in handling the storm's effects.
If you decide to travel to Australia in the future, please know that our Mission stands ready to help plan and execute your trip to one of the United States' closest allies. Until then, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have or issues you would like to raise.
Sincerely,
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
