Dear Dr. Kehoe: I was very happy to get your letter of January 18th giving your opinion on the cases attached to my letter. I gather from your remarks that you have the same feeling that I have in regard to these cases. In view of the clinical findings reported in the case of Anthony Candella I do feel.as you do that there is a possibility that it is a lead case. The other one I think can be thrown out. I understand that Dr. Reznikoff uses the FairhaL1 method in all his lead determinations. You confirmed my feelings about Dr, Cotter. I have come in contact with him a great deal in the last five or six months and I am inclined to doubt his judgement in.practically every case. I feel that he is a dangerous man and yet unfortunately there are certain members of the New York State Labor Department who rely a great deal on his judgement. The cases whose records I sent to you were not up for legal decision as far as I know but I was very much interested in them and I was anxious to get your opinion about them.
