To follow up on your request during our meeting on June 12, 1985, I am providing you with information regarding our line of compressed sheet gasketing materials.
As detailed on the attached brochure, asbestos and non-asbestos compressed sheet gasketing is available in a variety of formulations and constructions which are suitable for most fluid handling applications. Several of the asbestos composition sheets are manufactured in conformance with appropriate United States military specifications.

Description
Anchor's pioneering non-asbestos sheet is made from the highest quality materials for high temperatures and chemical stability. It presses easily into flange surface irregularities but resists creep under pressure. The sheet has a homogeneous structure and uniform thickness. Meets A5TM F104.
Uses
Designed for temperatures to 750"F and pressures to 1450 psi. 100% asbestos free, this material can be used in many applications where industry formerly depended on asbestos. Chloride content below 100 ppm.

A rugged, non-asbestos formulation of longpopular Twicom. Close-mesh steel wire gauze
firmly stabilizes the cross section to resist high temperatures and pressures, fluctuating stresses.
Designed for temperatures to 750T and pressures to 1450 psi. Tensile strength ASTM
F 152 across the grain is 2900 psi.

especially designed to resist high pressures and temperatures. Long fiber asbestos thoroughly impregnated with SBR binder. Pressure bonded and vulcanized into a dense sheet of uniform thickness and surface finish.
Designed to resist high pressures. Excellent for `superheat'' and services requiring strong, tough gaskets. Underwriters Laboratory approved.

for immunity to the action of oil and many petroleum solvents. Pressure bonded and vulcanized. Uniform thickness and surface finish.
