New Pledget gasoline plant I recovers five liquid products 1 HE Southern Production Com pany, Inc., recently put into service a natural gasoline plant in the Pledger field, some 60 miles southwest of Houston, Texas, to take care of in creased gas production in that area. The new Pledger gasoline plant, which replaced an older one, is one of the largest absorption plants in the country, capable of processing more than 190,000,000 cu ft of wet natural gas per day. From this amount of gas, the following approximate quantities are obtainable: 81,335 gpd of 10 rvp gasoline, 91,070gpd ofLPG products, 14,150 gpd of isobutane, 11,310 gpd of kerosine, and 1910 gpd of fuel oil, leaving 184,773,000 std cu ft per day of sales gas. The plant was engineered and constructed by Stearns-Roger Manu facturing Company. Wet Pledger gas, directly from the wells, arrives at the plant at a flowing pressure of 2000 psig and at a tem perature of 115 F. From the Sugar Valley field, a second stream of wet gas arrives at the plant at a pressure of approximately 600 psig.
