We understand that members of SPI might rely on this letter to satisfy any obligations that they might have to submit this information individually under section 8 (e) of TSCA. The enclosed report was mailed to members of the SPI (US) Occupational Health and Environmental Issues Committee March 22, 1990. It was also the subject of a presentation to the Committee on April 5, 1990. The report indicates that under the conditions of the test, lead chromate was extracted from plastic resin pellets containing lead chromate pigment.
