I am writing to confirm our earlier conversations and update you on actual and expected analytical chemistry level of effort To date we have spent 13 days at $1,000 per day on a combination of method development, test substance characterization, method validation and trial sample analysis. We expect to spend an additional two to three days setting up an analytical instrument for on-line analysis, at a price of $2,000 to $3,000. After that alt that remains is to perform the penodle GC confirmations of IR analysts. According to your conversation with Ray Schroeder and Gary Hoffman I expect 22 separate analytical events at $500 each, to a total of $11,000. The total analytical price for the year long study is, therefore, going to be $28,000 to $27,000. The total will be less if setting the GC on line takes less time than anticipated or more if the scope is increased. The next issue we must discuss Is that of Invoicing terms.
