Philadelphia, Pa., July 16, 1945. At a regular meeting of the Direetors of John T. Lewis & Bros. Company, held this day at their offices in the Widener Building, there were present; S. 7. Reeves, Tice President A. M. Wilson, Tice President L. T. Beale, Director The meeting was called to order by Ur. Reeves, who presided, and Ur. A. M. Wilson reported the minutes of the meeting. The minutes of the meeting of June 25 were read and approved. Ur. Reeves mentioned correspondence relating to Ur. Morris H. Merritt fs return to John T. Lewis A Bros. Company from the Armed Services, and stated that this would probably take place between the fifteenth and thirtieth of August. Mr. Reeves reported the following comparative figures for the month of June and the first six months of 1944 and 1945* including estimated taxes but without including Hew York overhead: June Pirst six months 1944 - profit #23,491.66 1945 - profit 13,008.01 1944 - profit #60,294.34 1945 - profit 57,474.85 On a motion duly made and seoonded it was unanimously decided to pay Mr.fBdward Repp, a former employee of twenty years* service, #20.00 per month as a disabled employee, subject to review in six months. Mr. Repp is incapacitated as far as gainful work at our plant is concerned. A'S. Mr. Wilson reported acknowledgment from MM. McCarthy, National Lead Company, Hew York, of receipt of invoices for all White-Lead shipments to specific towns for the first and fourth quarters 1941* and the first quarter 1943, as requested by the General Office. The regular report of deliveries for the week ending July 13, was submitted by Mr. Wilson. There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned.
