First there is the story from Newsday about high levels of lead caused in a 4-year old boy by eating lead shot encased in the keel of a plastic toy boat. The next story is one by John Stowell of AP of the Raleigh, N. C. conference. You may recall that we provided some background to Stowell before he attended this meeting. I am having our Washington office attempt to obtain a copy of the court's ruling and have asked them to check further with EPA to see if there are further developments in the regulations.
