Post mortum examination revealed that this fatal outcome was due to gastric hemorrhage and hyperkalemia. In light of this reported case, we would appreciate your cooperation in providing us with information pertaining to the pH and potassium content of the detergents manufactured by your company. We hope this information will enable our staff to establish a protocol which will aid in the management of similar cases.
