Taffee I. Pumps in Dept. 27 The only new pump being added in Dept. 27 for sure is Item 837, for tank 810, storage for Aroclor 5460. Fans will be 10 HP maximum. Possibly a Therminol booster pump may be required. Existing pumps 739, 740 and 741 (Peerless filter and filtrate pumps) are adequate as is. Future pumps for additional clay treating towers will probably be 4-5 HP units. With the dismantling made possible by Project 1430, there will be sufficient panels in Dept. 27 motor control center to handle all of the above. I do not visualize any need to backfeed pumps from the new panel in the warehouse building. Refer to my previous panel list of Dept. 27 functions to be idle. II. Tank Farm Corrections Item 727 - Agitator was found to be 3 HP, not 7*5 HP. Item 730 - Has been changed from 15 HP to 10 HP. Item 745 - Is a new function, 15 HP. Item 747 - Toluene drum pump is to be 1/2 HP. Item 746 - Scavenger drum pump, new, is to be 1/2 HP. Note: Items 739, 740 and 741 are not required from the warehouse motor control center. III. Horsepower Not Firm The following items are not yet designed and the horse power is not firm. 803 - Drum pallet conveyor. 819 - Bag flattener. 820 - Bag conveyor. 826 - 1268 mill. 828 - Aroclpr flaker vent blower. _ p-- 0159269 TOWOLDMONOQ43978 H. Cancel 835 and 836 conveyors (gravity flow). 837 - 5460 transfer pump - will be on Dept. 27 panel. 839 - 1268 dust collector blower. 843 - Biphenyl flaker vent blower. 848 - Aroclor pallet conveyor. 849 - Biphenyl pallet conveyor (Revised equipment lists will be published shortly) 1 realize these unresolved details make it hard to firm-up electrical design.
