In the meantime we will label the report to the effeot that "the evidence submitted does not substantiate the diagnosis of an occupational disease". In connection with the f l f l f l B H B H p s a s e of Akron, Ohio, I have suggested that it be classified as a tentative case coming tinder No. 8 of the Compensable Schedule, "Poisoning by gasoline, ben zine, naphtha, or other volatile petroleum products" (see enclosure), and leave it to the Department of Industrial Relations to determine t h ^ ^ ^ g ^ f his claim. However, I think it should be made plain to his olalm before the Industrial Commission should be changed from "Lead Poisoning" to'Poisoning by Gasoline", in view of the evidence which you have submitted negating lead poisoning. I hope to be able to send you soon a copy of our 31st Report of the Ohio Department of Health which contains a 15-year summary of the experiences in the Division of Industrial Hygiene and the annual re port for the year 1929.
