Dear Sydney,
I hope all is well. I have attached an invitation from the Boys & Girls Club inviting Administrator Pruitt to attend a fundraiser at the Washington Nationals' game on May 24 as an honored guest. Our law firm is a long-time supporter of the Boys & Girls Club, which does great work for the children of the Washington area. Please let me know if Mr. Pruitt will be able to attend or if you need additional information.
Best regards,
Mark

Fundraiser at the Washington Nationals Ballpark
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington ("BGCGW") recently hired a new Chief
Executive Officer, and the Board ofDirectors is making an effort to establish closer relationships
between the CEO, the Board, and appointed officials in the Trump administration. We would be
;
honored to have you attend this charitable fundraising event as an honored guest of the BGCGW.
:
If you can participate, you will help place the more than 15,000 DC youth that we serve each
year on a path to a great future.-
I
The mission of the BGCGW is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who
i
need us most, build confidence, develop character, and acquire the skills needed to become
;
productive, civic-minded, responsible adults. Every day, nearly 450,000 kids in the Greater
Washington area leave school with nowhere to go. They risk being unsupervised, unguided, and
'unsafe. Our Clubs provide a safe and productive place for children to learn and grow. In 2016,
I
98% of our kids graduated high school. Our alumni are more likely to go to college, to become
actively involved in their community, and to support the Clubs that nurtured them,
\
Our clubs save lives* and our team can only help our communities by serving more'youth. Consequently, the Metropolitan Board of Directors has an aggressive goal of increasing the number of kids we serve in the Metropolitan area to 18,000 youth by 2020.
I
To support our programming, BGCGW plans to host a fundraiser on May 24, 2017 in a suite at
:
Nationals Park featuring local and national business leaders, our club kids, and members of the
`
Executive Committee of our Board of Directors. The suite and all food and beverages have been
=
donated to BGCGW by Bakerllostetler, a law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. that has
supported BGCGW for over 20 years.
