Lindbergh Boulevard St. Louis, Missouri Dear Doctor Kelly: Thank you for your prompt reply to my correspondence of November 10, 1964. The Pvdraul to which I referred was A-200. The patient is a dye cast maintenance worker, and he claims that on occasions he has inhaled the hydraulic fluid fumes of Pydraul which were accidentally dropped on molten metal at 300 and exposed to these fumes for ten to fifteen minutes. I gather that while this exposure -occurred indoors it was in a well-ventilated, spacious area. The patient claimed that he gagged on several occasions after this and most recently has not felt well since his last exposure. He has felt weak and tired with generalized aches and pains ''like the flu- associated with marked perspiration. Physical examination was essentially unrevealing.
