I was unable to attend the Cancer Congress in Houston but did have one of our Ethyl physicians at the meeting. No one appeared to read the paper on vinyl chloride and no reprints were available. Therefore, I have little to give to you except the abstract as presented in the volume of abstracts distributed at the meeting. I will try to find more about this subject from some of my friends in Europe, but that is as far as I can go at this time. Since this report appears to be so convincing, I suppose that we must consider vinyl chloride as a carcinogen but before doing this I believe that the finding should be confirmed.
