Weaver, Chairman of the Committee ..has kept me abreast on various activities in government, industry and in the press concerning asbestos. Because of the considerable amount of literature I an only forwarding articles that your Chairman specifically suggested I send to the Committee Members. These articles are: 1. "Type of Asbestos and Respiratory Cancer in the Asbestos Industry" (Types of asbestos and their carcinogenic potentials). 2. "Asbestos Health Question Perplexes Experts" (A stannary of the Durham, N.C. meeting on the biological effects of Ingested asbestos). In addition, I have listed all the articles received from Hr. Weaver which are related to the asbestos problem. Should you vish a copy of any of these articles, please let .me know. One item is a 16 page booklet entitled "CAUTION: ASBESTOS DUST....
