Hello Samantha, This is a brief follow-up to my previous pitch for you to consider my background in support of your Senior Advisor. While I am not there at present, welcome to your 'New Normal', Washington, DC. I have spent a fair amount of time there, though never under the employ of any agency. Having seen some press which appear credible, I actually believe, for what it's worth, that I could be the 'Dina Powell for the EPA'. You probably think that is outlandish and perhaps ridiculous, but I submit it to you for your consideration. I get things done, and I do it with very high integrity. My wife was taken from me by a DUI incident on February 5, 2015, and I have rebuilt myself from that great loss, and I hope to do something for my country on my beloved Annette's behalf. Attorney General Derek Schmidt knows all about this incident, and his office has been very supportive, for that I am very grateful. As is the case for Administrator Scott Pruitt, I have been a vocal and unashamed opponent of the former EPA, dating back certainly to Lisa Jackson and the unbelievable Gina McCarthy. I will be with Scott regardless of where 'this' leads, assuming he stays the course he has preliminarily defined over the years preceding today. We have the most unique moment in our history to materially transform and reject the unacceptable, and frankly, unscientific policies of especially the Obama administration. The ideological policies of the past must be replaced with realistic, truthful and legislatively prudent pathways to our national success. This will not be not be easy, but it must happen if we are to actually move the needle somehow, someway back to where it belongs. Samantha, please either give me a realistic reason to hope for possibly filling this apparently open position, or simply let me know it is not.
