Both techniques show this talc to he ccrapletely free fraa astestifarani minerals, Electrcn tirijcroscopy showed this talc is extreiard.y platy. Because of its platiuess there were seme rolled talc shards, but this we normally find with platy talc. The results of our x-ray analysis also indicated that no mphtholes and serpentineswere present. We did find -sane dioxides and traces of alpha-SiC^, dolrxnif-.c;, calcifce and inagoesite, The results of that investigation a m included with this report.
