Since you have reason to be interested in this matter, I am attaching a blind copy of my letter to her. My last trip to Los Angeles gave me little time to do anything but the thing I was there to do. I arrived in town on the night of the 15th and caught a plane home as soon as the legislative hearing was over. The trip was a very inconvenient interruption of my schedule, and I terminated it as quickly as possible, leaving myself no time for fun and games or even the amenities. ) Thanks for thinking of me in connection with your correspondence with Harriet, and even more so for your disappointment at nds hearing from me.
